| Akan Udofia said he has given up for OBA to run the guber polls,promised to support him |

Just few hours to the March 18, 2023, gubernatorial election, the All Progresive Congress governorship candidate , Akan Udofia , said he has relingished his governorship aspiration to the Young Progressive Party (YPP) candidate, Obong Bassey Albert (OBA).
The APC candidate said, he'll prefer ministerial appointment from his successor as he withdraws to support him.
Udofia stressed that, all parties in the state should collapse structure for the YPP candidate, adding that, government of Udom Emmanuel has caused set back to the state. According to him, Akwa Ibom has been taken from once an "okay" state to an "apology" state.
Udofia professed that , OBA is his good friend and nothing can seclude them. He furthered that, effort should be made to make sure OBA wins on Saturday polls.
